Performing before she could talk, singer-songwriter Autumn Knight grew up with a love for the arts. Born and raised to a musical loving family in Los Angeles she was introduced to the music of Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan and Simon & Garfunkel. As a child, Autumn Knight remembers the joy she felt on stage during her ballet performances and knew then the stage was her home. Mesmerized by the vocals of Tori Amos and Sarah McLachlan; Autumn started writing her own songs and realized she wanted to make original music.
After moving to San Diego at the age of 10; Autumn starred in musical theatre productions at her community theater and started performing original songs at local coffee shops. Knowing already she had a love for the stage, Autumn quickly became a triple threat: singer, actor and dancer.
Through years of dedication, heartbreak, maturity and overall love for her craft, Autumn Knight has developed her original sound. Not only a singer-songwriter, Autumn Knight is a professionally trained vocalist, pianist and guitarist. She attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, the same alma mater as Quincy Jones, Charlie Puth and John Mayer. After college, Autumn returned back to Los Angeles where she focused all of her energy on performing, writing and recording new music. During this time she performed her EP “Ready” at the iconic House of Blues on the Sunset Strip where she was the headliner.
In 2015, after some much-needed inspiration, Autumn moved to Nashville to discover a new sound. Around this time Autumn faced some major life changes that shaped her life and music like never before. Nashville provided her a fresh city to create new memories which is what her music is all about. From those life experiences, the song “Outline” was born. “Outline” for Autumn reflects the singer's growth process and is all about transformation and finding yourself in a new city. As a pop artist, she finds inspiration and musical guidance from Adele, Lana Del Rey and Kygo.
When Autumn is not in the studio or performing live, she makes time to be a musical mentor at local Teen Emergency Homeless Centers. She believes music has the power to heal and is doing her part to share her gift with others.
